I called around to get quotes on a 120,000 miles maintenance for my vehicle and came across this spot. I spoke with a gentleman who said that sometimes, vehicles don’t need all the work that’s listed on the checklist so they’ll need to check it out and see what needs work. I scheduled an appointment, dropped my car off the day before, received a call about the work that needs to be done, and a few hours later, got a call to pick up my car. The whole process was easy and efficient. The gentleman that helped me when I was there picking up my car told me what work was done, answered the questions I had with my brakes and tires, told me about how much life I had on those and sent me on my way. He didn’t try to upsell me in any other services, which I really appreciated. Overall, I am very pleased with my service there and will definitely return in the future. Thanks guys! Oh, and they charged me about $170 less than what the dealership quoted.

It's very difficult to find straight forward mechanics, this shop is the place to go for repairs. They will get the job done. Thanks for getting my Blazer back on the road.

When I was having transmission leak issues, Bus Lab referred me to Broadway Automotive & Transmission. Turns out, for a similar cost to acquire a rebuilt transmission from German Transaxle (which most Vanagon folks rely on) and where one has to do the removal/install yourself, Broadway was able to do a 1st class rebuild along with the removal/install. Brought it back to them after the 500 mile checkup where I thought I may have a leak. Reece took the time to put the Westy up on the lift where we got under it and he showed me how it’s an unrelated slow oil leak I need to address. The transmission is performing beautifully with my KEP Subaru engine conversion. Paul knows the challenges with the VW transmission (mostly parts availability). Paul and Reece were top-notch, on the level, patient and thorough. No wonder they’ve been so successful. Area Vanagon owners are super lucky to have these guys in our neck of the woods.

Broadway Automotive is fast, friendly, and good about avoiding unnecessary expenses in maintenance and repair. I had been using the dealer service but found the costs were getting really high. Broadway Automotive does the work that is actually needed, rather than running up the maximum bill.

Reese and Paul are national celebrities for their endless knowledge base about everything automobile. They provide honest, reliable service and are my go-to shop for anything needed on my ‘97 4Runner. They recently helped me get my driveshaft rebuilt and rid me a nasty 65mph+ vibration, after I initially thought it was a wheel/tire issue. Now it hums along at 75+ on the freeway.
