Paul the owner is incredibly friendly, professional. Great service and really patient when I took time to decide if we were going to get the transmission rebuilt on an old Westfalia. We went ahead with the service - and they were the only place in town that could do it because we had an automatic version. Can’t say enough good things about working with Paul.

On schedule, communicative, and reliable. They don’t blast you with the upsell, so I know they’re being honest about their assessment. Paul is the man!

I limped in with my garage-queen 1966 “loved-one”. It was in to service and set up my transmission. The car quit them on the initial drive. They pushed it back to the shop and corrected years un-careful repairs. My “loved-one drives like new! Highly recommend.

How many of us have been through more than 1 mechanic? I know I have. Paul and Reese are truly honest, highly skilled, and very professional. One thing you can be guaranteed, if you bring it in and there is nothing wrong Paul and Reese will not upsell you on anything. They tell you what they believe is the issue and they resolve it. Neither I nor my daughter have ever had to take our car back because the repairs failed or were not all that was wrong. As far as I'm concerned Broadway Automotive and Transmission is the last mechanic shop I will ever use. You're not going to find a better mechanic in the Bay Area. I'm not saying you couldn't find someone comparable but I guarantee you won't find anyone more honest or more highly skilled.

Paul and Reece made my 1973 Jeep Commando purr like a kitten and the cost was very reasonable.

Our service consist of a rebuilt engine, new radiator, new water pump and all new hoses. We are very happy our truck feels like brand new. The customer service here goes above and beyond. We highly recommend these guys.
