Paul was warm and friendly and offered fantastic customer service for a situation that was very stressful for me. This company is very trustworthy and knowledgeable. I really appreciated their help.

Paul was pleasant, kind, efficient, and knowledgeable from the first contact to the completion of the work. He correctly diagnosed a problem that two other mechanics had not been able to solve. He accomplished the repairs exactly when he said he would, communicated with me clearly all along the way, held my car overnight for my convenience, and was a pleasure to deal with at every step. I felt the cost was very fair, and the car is running like a dream. I haven't had a mechanic I really liked for some years, and I'm happy to have found one! I will be returning to Broadway Auto for my regular service from here on.

Overall repair satisfaction Overall, I am satisfied with the repair. Paul and Reece decided to rebuild rather than totally replace. Worked out better all the way around. Quality My belief is that the work has been done right the first time. My car is smooth and quiet, easy on the road again. I'm pretty happy with it. Price of repair Paul and Reece gave me a great price for parts and labor. Paul really used his network to find the best parts in the most expedient fashion. He talked through all the perspectives and possibilities. I felt I had a pretty good understanding of the job and the solution. Timeliness The work was done when promised. In actuality, it took alot longer than I would have liked. Truth is, it was a big job. Seemed to me they could use some more support staff: they certainly had alot of work goin on in the shop. They don't appear to be hurting for work. Broadway Automotive and Transmission came highly recommended. Because I am a frugal and conscientious shopper, I like to be as informed as possible. I trusted the source of the recommendation. Still, being from Chicago by way of LA, I called around to get and check other references. I got other estimates for the job from other shops. I can honestly say the experience I had lived up to their reputation. I would certainly refer others to them. Courtesy Courteousness of repair staff was par excellent. Transparent; Respectful; Trustworthy: Expert knowledge; straight forward; no BS. These guys rock!

Paul and his team are the best in Oakland. This was not my first time dealing with transmission issues and I knew this was the place. Paul and crew did not disappoint, I was back up and driving in 2 days. You'll never know how important the R gear is until you lose it.
